A place called Night
She took me to a place
Where sun sleeps under dark beddings
And she asked me what the place was…
I saw souls passing from their heart to leg
And galaxy telling her daughters folklores
There were chirpings of crickets and squeaks
But their noises were with silence making love
I saw the white eyes of the moon
And the yummy of her bitter smiles
What on earth could this place be?
Father had told me only darkness defines a night
But he forgot to describe what darkness looks like
I saw no darkness but only blank pages of moonlight
So my eyes knew not where she took me was a night.
