Night by Isoboye Danagogo

Night

Glares the sunset and sunrise;
With deeper hues.
Sky gives births to stars;
Just to bear witness to beams.

Loneliness is like a night.
It brings solitude of silences.
Night is dead,
Moons corpse walks flawlessly.
Night is life,
It brings dumb beauty alive.

It is the sounds of darkness
It lures quietness to the trees.
It lures quietness to the bats.
It renders eyes apology of rest.

Quietness makes a beautiful night,
Through the heels of soundless night;
Quietness goes to and fro.
As night sleeps on the hands of awake.
