The Visit by Akintola Akindele

The Night

They came on a troubled night,
Entered like an Angel,
The atmosphere changed and was calm,
The air smells of sweet fragrance,
One sat beside him,
The other stood over is head,
An hand to his chest uptight,
Another placed firmly on his head like an evangel,
A ticket to the other world was awarded without a
qualm,
He dreams of his family in France,
He was eclipsed and rendered dim,
