What should I do?: A poem by Awotide Michael

What should I do?

What should i say?
Or what can i do?
When the darkness appears dark,

When my two eyes blinded in your love?

What should i do?
Or what can i do?
When the sky hide the moon under the sky,

When darkness is all i see from the sky?

What should i do?
Or what can i do?
When the stars shed tears to protect,
From the scaring shadow of darkness,

That keeps chasing me around like a devil’s ghost.

What should i say?
Or what can i do?
When the rivers flow freely up and down,
That worked from dawn to dusk,
When on duties,
The dawn chorus of many birds is all i heard,

Singing while the rivers roar of laughter?

What should i say?
Or what can i do?
When the Angels blew a trumpet,
Whcih gives a melody sound,
Which my ears pleased to hear,

The sound of the lovely music.

What should i say?
Or what can i do?
When the rainbow appears a beautiful colours,

Which is you i saw appear in the rainbow?

What should i say?
Or what should i do?
When the rain drop lonely from the sky,
That drop like a cane in a millions way,
That beat the world unconfortable and uncontrollable,
Which gives a storming breezes into my life.
What should i say?
Or what can i do?
