Broken China

by Micheal Ifeanyi Akuchiebhin
.
unequally shaped china crashes
into two hundred and fifty
pieces.
quivering quake sends hateful larva
spurting out from
steaming spouts.
one piece runs towards
the sun and meets darkness
in the east and the sun
seemed to set with its wayfaring dreams.
three large parts tower
over fearful minorities
and hate rips
the veil of peace loosened
by the dust of timeless disunity.
three pieces fall
unashamedly to
crash and clash
for the prized debris
of a downed china.
