Poetry: Crazy World by Olajide Gbenga Emmanuel

CRAZY wORLDpastoral poem

Majority dwells where insanity dwells;
Gun shots in the air are the throw-back of gravity from its bombshells.
No vaccine nor antidote for those regiments gun down
As vacuous vacilate souls from frown then drown.

Little lads emaciated in the plight of hunger
With sorts of displeasure and mockery by the monger;
Whose foods on the table are meant for the richest
And foods on the floor are meant for the poorest.

We are the naive following this world who never knows its way to civilization.
Do we say no differences between been fool and foolishly forlorn in accusation?
Crazy world! Ignorance in the eyes of the treasurer
Who stands on the lane of obscurity seeking advise from the pesterer…

The civil agents, lets do away nepotism that goes against God’s faculty.
Illicit expend of water would lead to flood, legality in mentality;
And never use land to harm another with selfless interest
For it would lead to scarcity of foods and fire outburst.

God had created nature for man, but man has brought downfall to himself;
When he lost the privilege God gave to him to prove oneself;
As utilizing the use of resources for our dominion of His purpose for man’s stewardship.
No skyrocketing! Lets manage His handiwork well, for a day call would give the account of our craftsmanship.
